One thin I did notice is that originally I had the video resolution set to 1080p24. I was watching The Dark Knight and a couple times it skipped half a scene after locking up briefly. Since I have changed it to 1080p setting I have had no troubles (outside of a scratched disk causing errors). Overall very good. ...more

After reading all the reviews I decided that I would take a chance at this blu ray player which at the time was offered at Walmart for $98.00. When I went back to the store, they actually had a later model on the clearance rack for $68.00 without the remote. Well I took a chance and I have nothing but good things to say. Every blu ray played except Batman Begins. I downloaded the firmware update from the manufacuturer's website and everything is fine.
